The HPASWV is one of five private not-for-profit
agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia
legislated to provide health planning in Virginia. HPASWV
is responsible for Region III, which is geographically the largest in Virginia,
covering approximately one-third of the state, and about 18.5% of its

beginning at 1:00 p.m. This board meeting will be held at the
Bakers Best in Radford.

meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 beginning at 1:00
p.m. The
location has not been set at this time.
PUBLIC
HEARINGS:
A public hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at the Town of Marion Town Hall, 138 W Main St, Marion, Virginia. The purpose of this
public hearing is to receive input from members of the public on COPN Request VA-7665 from Smyth County Community Hospital, seeking to introduce an 18-bed inpatient medical rehabilitation
service.
